Board & Train
Doggy Boot Camp Six-Day and Two-Week Programs
At ACDT we also offer programs where you can leave the hard work to the experts. With our Board & Train course, you leave your dog at our facility and we complete the dog training course for you!
When your dog stays with us, he or she becomes our guest. We have a knowledgeable and caring kennel staff working on the premises from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm. Our kennel staff will feed, walk, and give your pup plenty of attention and our team of trainers will put together a comprehensive game plan for your dog in order to teach him or her the six basic commands. Our team will also tackle any behavior issues discussed upon intake. Our team will communicate with you directly on a regular basis to let you know how your dog is progressing and to give you peace of mind knowing that your pup is in good hands. Below are the two programs we currently offer, however, custom programs can be created to fit the individual needs of your specific canine.
Six-Day Doggy Boot Camp is an intense, fast-paced program designed to maximize training in a minimum amount of time. During the six days, each dog is worked a minimum of five times a day, which adds up to no less than 30 sessions with one of our master trainers. On the sixth day, before we send your dog home, we ask that you spend an hour with one of our trainers familiarizing yourself with your dog’s new commands. Our trainer will discuss any and all questions you may have, as well as provide you with any additional feedback about your dog’s stay.
14-Day Board & Train is a two-week long, less intense training program in which each dog gets worked two to three times daily. Each lesson methodically builds on the last lesson, and it is not uncommon to see dogs mastering off-lead control, distance control, and even walking control at the end of the two-week program.
RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations. Medical clearance from a veterinarian with a negative fecal exam is required upon registration.
